HEAVY.COM NAMED 7TH FASTEST GROWING WEB BRAND BY NIELSEN//NETRATINGS
New York, NY – December 27, 2005: Heavy.com, the world’s leading broadband network with more than 10 million unique viewers monthly, announced that it was named the 7th Fastest Growing Web Brand by Nielsen//NetRatings, the global leader in Internet media and market research.
Nielsen//NetRatings surveyed more than 2,000 sites that that met minimum reporting standards—all with more than one million unique visitors for November 2005. Heavy.com’s year-over-year growth was measured to be a whopping 301%.
In a press release announcing the research, Nielsen//NetRatings also notes, “Visitors age 12-24 are more likely than the average Web user to visit these fastest growing sites, which show approximately 50 to 90 percent more young visitors than the average Web site’s audience.”
