T.J. LAVIN KICKS OFF EXTREME “STUPID HUMAN FLICKS” AT THE HOT TAMALES® BEACH HOUSE

New York, NY – March 6, 2007: HOT TAMALES® and Heavy today announced the party experience of Spring Break 2007. On Wednesday, March 14th at the HOT TAMALES® Beach House in Panama City, HOT TAMALES® will launch their new, cool and extreme flavor HOT TAMALES® ICE™, and Heavy will present their first ever “Circus of Awesome” live event.

The bash will be hosted by extreme sports superstar, T.J. Lavin, known for his extended variations, nice-guy demeanor and stylish showmanship. T.J. cracked into pop culture as the host of MTV’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge and with a segment on MTV’s Cribs. The “Circus of Awesome” party will feature lots of entertainment including Rail Jam Wakeboarding, and celebrity MC’s, including the talented, hardworking and easy on the eyes, DJ Elle.

Party people who purchase specially-marked packages of HOT TAMALES® Cinnamon can play the “R U HOT OR ICE?” On-Pack Promotion, and win a Spring Break Trip! Grand prize winners will choose the “Ultimate” Beach or Ski House for a week. “The Circus of Awesome” party is just one of many events hosted by HOT TAMALES® throughout spring 2007 where consumers will be able to sample the new HOT TAMALES® ICE™ candies.

“The Circus of Awesome” is a new user-generated online talent show that allows Heavy’s audience to showcase their talents and be featured on Heavy’s homepage. Heavy will select ten acts to perform live in Panama City on March 14th at the HOT TAMALES® Beach House. The coolest and hottest act based on the audiences’ reaction will be the winner of this launch round. These performances will be recorded and aired on Heavy.com as part of the ongoing “Circus of Awesome” competition.
