HEAVY ACCELERATES MOMENTUM WITH KEY HIRES FROM DOUBLECLICK, MYSPACE, PUREVIDEO, VEOH AND WEBMD
Anthony Katsur, Tommy Pizzo, Robert Koshar, Tony Biel, Doug Schirle, and Lindsey Klein Join One of Web’s Leading Video Innovators
New York, NY – February 25, 2008: Heavy.com, the web’s leading independent video site, today announced another robust round of hires, including: former COO of Panther Express and Engineering VP of DoubleClick, Anthony Katsur; former East Coast Sales Manager for MySpace, Tommy Pizzo; former Director of Media Operations for WebMD, Robert Koshar; former Director of Advertising Sales for Veoh.com, Tony Biel and former Regional Vice Presidents of PureVideo Networks, Inc., Doug Schirle and Lindsey Klein. CMO Eric Hadley made the announcement.

Anthony Katsur, COO, Husky Network
Anthony Katsur joins the Husky Network, Heavy’s premium video advertising network, from Panther Express, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this, Mr. Katsur served as Engineering Vice President for DoubleClick, managing the DART ad serving infrastructure.
Tommy Pizzo, Senior Territory Manager
Tommy Pizzo joins Heavy from MySpace where he served as Senior Territory Manager on the East Coast. While at MySpace, Mr. Pizzo was responsible for managing relationships with brands such as Sprint, Frito-Lay, Verizon Wireless and Pepsi. With over eight years of experience on the interactive side, Mr. Pizzo also brings along deep ties with the agency world. Prior to MySpace, Tommy was a Senior Account Executive at MSN.
Rober Koshar, Vice President, Ad Operations
Rober Koshar joins Heavy from WebMD, where he served as the Director of Media Operations, managing all advertising operations, contract administration and media analysis groups for all WebMD and MedScape Web properties. Prior to WebMD, Mr. Koshar was the Product Manager of Advertising Technologies Worldwide and a Technical Analyst for DoubleClick.
Tony Biel, Director of Sales, Western Region
Tony Biel joins Heavy from Veoh Networks, where he served as the Advertising Sales Director, developing online advertising campaigns, contest sponsorships and branded integration with Veoh video content. With more than eight years of experience working on brand building, interactive, on and offline production and new media, Mr. Biel has managed campaigns for a variety of leading brands, including: Volkswagen; Lexus; Royal Caribbean, Fleet Bank and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
Doug Schirle, Director of Sales, Western Region
Doug Schirle joins Heavy from PureVideo Networks, Inc., where he held the position of Regional Vice President, leading product development and strategy. While at PureVideo, Mr. Schirle introduced the company to key clients and agencies in the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle markets, while managing campaigns with such high-profile accounts as Nike, Oakley, Coors, Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment, EA Sports and Sony PlayStation. Prior to this, Doug was the Sales Director for WebMD where he managed advertising sales to strategic accounts in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest.
Lindsey Klein, Director of Sales, Eastern Region
Lindsey Klein also joins Heavy from PureVideo Networks, Inc., where she held the position of Regional Vice President, leading product development and strategy.
